For nature's sake.....

Almost all of us are expressing concern over the changing pattern of weather. There have been plenty of rains with practically negligent summer this time. Although this is something to rejoice upon with a heavy respite from sweltering heat. Yet people are apprehensive about the changing weather conditions. As they say, weather is something very unpredictable. Nature is a big mystry and no matter how hard we try to understand, it always surprises us with unique trends. Global warming is a much-talked about phenomenon. Although there is greater awareness about environmental concerns yet humans are doing everything they can to destroy the natural balance. This is partly because of a short-sighted approach and partly due to rapid urbanisation. Environment is still largely ignored while planning any new urban development. This is causing trouble and the consequences are surfacing now and will be more profound in the future. Nature has this unique ability to sustain itself. However, even nature would not be able to tolerate the excessive torture bestowed by the human souls. The changing weather or climate remains debatable but one thing is for sure - environment would not be able to take the ill-treatment we are giving to it for long. May nature bestow some wisdom amongst us!
